    Product Description:
Isoeugenol is an organic compound belonging to the phenylpropenes chemical class. It is a pale yellow to amber-colored oily liquid with a characteristic sweet, spicy, and carnation-like odor. Structurally, it is an isomer of eugenol, differing in the position of the double bond in the propenyl side chain. Its primary and most significant application is as a fragrance ingredient and flavoring agent. Due to its pleasant and long-lasting aroma, it is extensively used in the formulation of perfumes, soaps, detergents, and cosmetic products. It is also employed as a flavoring substance in food products, beverages, and oral hygiene products. Additionally, isoeugenol serves as a key starting material or intermediate in the synthesis of other fragrance chemicals, most notably vanillin, through oxidation processes. Isoeugenol occurs naturally in various plants, including ylang-ylang, nutmeg, and tuberose. While widely used, it is a known skin sensitizer for some individuals, and its use in cosmetics and fragrances is regulated in certain markets to ensure consumer safety.
