    Product Description:
Bifenthrin is a synthetic pyrethroid insecticide and acaricide. It is a white, waxy solid with a faint, sweet odor. Chemically, it is a mixture of isomers, primarily consisting of (1R,3R)- and (1S,3S)-isomers, and is characterized by a biphenyl group and a cyclopropane carboxylic acid ester structure. Its primary application is in agriculture as a broad-spectrum insecticide and miticide. It acts on the nervous system of insects by disrupting the function of voltage-gated sodium channels, leading to paralysis and death. It is effective against a wide range of pests, including ants, termites, mites, and various agricultural insects. Due to its long residual activity and effectiveness at low application rates, it is widely used in crop protection, turf management, and structural pest control (e.g., termite treatments). Bifenthrin is also registered for use in veterinary medicine and public health as an ectoparasiticide. It is used in products for controlling fleas and ticks on pets and livestock. It is known for its high lipophilicity and strong binding to soil and organic matter, which contributes to its persistence in the environment.
