    Product Description:
White beeswax, a natural wax primarily composed of esters of long-chain fatty acids and alcohols, is obtained from the honeycomb of the honey bee *Apis mellifera*. It is a complex mixture containing hydrocarbons, free fatty acids, and other minor components, giving it a characteristic white to yellowish color and a solid, pliable consistency at room temperature. Its primary application is in the cosmetics and personal care industry, where it serves as a key ingredient in formulations such as lip balms, creams, lotions, and ointments. It functions as an excellent emollient, thickening agent, and stabilizer, providing structure, texture, and a protective barrier on the skin. In pharmaceuticals, it is used as a stiffening agent in ointments and creams, and as a component in controlled-release drug delivery systems due to its hydrophobic and biocompatible nature. White beeswax is also utilized in food as a glazing agent (E901) and in various industrial applications like candle making, polishes, and as a modeling material in art. It is generally recognized as safe (GRAS) for its intended uses, non-irritating, and biodegradable.
