    Product Description:
Pyridoxine hydrochloride is the hydrochloride salt of pyridoxine, a water-soluble form of vitamin B6. It is a white or almost white crystalline powder, soluble in water and slightly soluble in ethanol. Its chemical structure is based on a pyridine ring substituted with hydroxymethyl, hydroxy, and methyl groups. Vitamin B6, in the form of pyridoxine hydrochloride, is an essential cofactor for numerous enzymes involved in amino acid metabolism, neurotransmitter synthesis (e.g., serotonin, dopamine), hemoglobin formation, and glycogen breakdown. Its primary application is in the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries for the treatment and prevention of vitamin B6 deficiency, certain types of anemia, and neurological conditions. It is also widely used as a nutritional fortifier in functional foods, infant formula, and dietary supplements. As a critical micronutrient, it is generally recognized as safe (GRAS) for use in food and pharmaceuticals. It plays a vital role in maintaining normal nervous system function, red blood cell metabolism, and immune response.
