    Product Description:
Tetrahydrodicyclopentadiene, also known as endo-tetrahydrodicyclopentadiene or JP-10, is a synthetic hydrocarbon with a complex, cage-like bicyclic structure. It is a colorless to pale yellow liquid with a high density and low volatility. Its primary and most significant application is as a high-energy-density liquid fuel for advanced propulsion systems, particularly in ramjet and scramjet engines for missiles and target drones. JP-10 is valued for its excellent thermal stability, high volumetric energy content, and good low-temperature properties, making it a key component in specialized aerospace and military applications. Beyond its fuel use, tetrahydrodicyclopentadiene serves as a valuable monomer or precursor in polymer chemistry. It can undergo ring-opening metathesis polymerization (ROMP) or other polymerization reactions to produce specialty polymers with unique thermal and mechanical properties. It is also utilized as a synthetic intermediate in organic chemistry for the preparation of other complex polycyclic compounds.
