    Chloro(2-dicyclohexylphosphino-2',6'-dimethoxy-1,1'-biphenyl)[2-(2'-amino-1,1'-biphenyl)]palladium(II) is a palladium(II) precatalyst featuring a bulky, electron-rich biarylphosphine ligand (SPhos derivative) and a 2-aminobiphenyl palladacycle structure. This complex is a highly active and stable Buchwald-type precatalyst for cross-coupling reactions. Its primary application is in carbon-carbon and carbon-heteroatom bond formation, particularly in Suzuki-Miyaura, Buchwald-Hartwig amination, and Negishi coupling reactions. The 2-aminobiphenyl ligand facilitates rapid activation to form the active Pd(0) species under mild conditions, while the SPhos-type ligand enhances catalytic activity and substrate scope, especially for sterically hindered substrates. This compound is widely used in pharmaceutical and fine chemical synthesis for constructing complex biaryl and amine structures.
